Senior Staff Schedule
This section provides general assistance to Deputy Registrar and is responsible for processing applications for appointment and promotions of senior staff; compiling staff confidential reports; processing leave applications – annual, maternity, among others; assisting the Deputy Registrar to handle grievance matters of staff; conducting investigations about staff as and when necessary; processing staff appeals through the University complaint procedures; maintaining and updating staff personal records.
The section also assists the Deputy Registrar to administer Conditions of Service of Senor staff; process and facilitate the renewal of work and residence permit of expatriate staff; facilitate and process certification of retired staff; organise exit interviews for retiring staff and submit report on same to Management; supervise, train and evaluate administrative support staff in the Registrar’s Offices; prepare periodic reports on senior staff to the Deputy Registrar; establish work schedules and work assignments of administrative support staff; monitor and enforce compliance with University policies regarding senior staff matters.
The schedule officer, Mr. Anthony Kuufare, serves as Secretary to Senior Staff Appointments and Promotions Committee; and performs any other duties that may be assigned by the Deputy Registrar.
