Academic Affairs Division
The Academic Affairs Division under the Registrar’s Office exist to;
- provide strategic planning on academic matters
- coordinate the development and implementation of academic policies of the University
- provide policy options on academic matters for the consideration of the Academic Board, Executive Committee and Management Committee through submission of papers and memoranda
- coordinate and supervise Examinations, Affiliations, Admissions, Sports, Graduation and matriculation, Outreach programmes on admissions
- disseminate and implement Academic Board decisions
- liaise with Provosts/Deans/Heads of Department on appointment of moderators and external examiners
- liaise with National Examining and Supervisory Bodies for equivalences of academic qualifications
- keep the Matriculation Register on behalf of the Registrar.
The Deputy Registrar in charge of the Division serves as Secretary to Academic Board and Executive Committee;
