This section of the Division is mandated to provide general assistance to the Deputy Registrar; offer legal advice to the University on general insurance policy; liaise with the appropriate offices on asset management; collaborate with GUSSS to educate prospective pensioners on retirement-related issues; liaise with the appropriate Insurance Companies and Insurance Brokerage Companies on behalf of the University in respect of insurance issues; advise staff and students on insurance policies (e.g. life, motor vehicle, group insurance, travel and health insurance for overseas travels, etc.); assist staff in accessing compensation under the Workmen’s Compensation Law.
