Environment and Sanitation
The Environment and Sanitation section of the Division, in addition to providing general assistance to the Deputy Registrar, prepares memoranda on environment and sanitation related matters for consideration by appropriate committees; supervises staff and operations of the Main Registry and the Post Room; coordinates with the Maintenance Department on maintenance works on campus; liaises with the Grounds and Garden Unit and the Environmental Quality Unit to ensure cleanliness and proper maintenance of the environment; and ensures commercial entities operating on campus conform to University regulations and discharge their financial obligations.
The schedule officer for the section serves as Secretary to:
- Transport Organization Management Committee;
- Security Services Management Committee;
- Safety Committee;
- KNUST / KATH Joint Standing Committee; and
- KNUST Bus Services Management and Technical Committee (KBSMC).
