Advancement and Alumni Relations
This section is mandated to coordinate the administration and management of the University Alumni Centre; develop programmes and activities that will promote the cause of the University Alumni; act as the liaison between the University and its Alumni worldwide, and the National Association of the KNUST Alumni; establish and maintain close relationships with corporate bodies and individuals to solicit for funds for the Alumni Association and to establish Chairs and Endowments; develop a data base for the Alumni of the University and to keep same under constant review.
The section also facilitates the planning and organisation of the Vice- Chancellor’s Annual Alumni Chapter visits across the country and abroad; promotes the setup of Regional Alumni Associations in Ghana and the world at large and to liaise with and maintain relationship with same on behalf of the University; promotes and organizes Annual Alumni Homecoming Week and Alumni Lectures in the University; and in collaboration with the Publication and Documentation Unit, publishes the Alumni newsletter.
